Cool Hi

Hey all.. relatively new to the two handers and feeling like I may be at it a bit.

I live in Keizer Oregon, about a block from the Willamette River. Makes it easy to get the boy out and get him casting as well, even if it is for smallies!

Been on a few of the other forums and have met some cool fellas - made some good friends as well, one that referred this site.

If not tying a fly or tweaking on a reel or rod, I spend a lot of time with my wife and son - 7 yr old fly-fishing mad-man Travis. If not hanging out with them, good chance I'm out in the shop wrenching around on my GSXR or the KTM SuperMoto. I have a problem sitting still. Well, thats about sums it up..

Pretty cool reads on here, some pretty decent folks on here it seems.

Hope to meet up with some of you all and share stories, flys, or even a stretch of river.

Tight lines
Mark

Welcome Mark. Be careful or you will be selling that KTM to be able to afford rods and reels. Donít ask me how I know this. 🤣

Thanks for the welcome.

When I look at my Gixxer I see rods n reels.. I look at the KTM at where to mount them.

It seems the $$ add up quicker on gear for tying flies than for rods n reels.. so far.

Fun game - just need fish, or I need to get some help or hypnosis to get m'brain off of the steelheads.

Get out and make a cast - it does wonders for the soul.

Here I thought I was all alone with this move. All well! Spey rods are easier on my back than the cruiser was.

Welcome Palmered.
