New to Spey

Hello,
I'm fairly new to the world of two-handed rods, but it's been great so far.
I live part-time in Belgium and am excited to get up to Norway or Sweden next summer to go after salmon with my Swedish fishing buddy.

Anyone know where I can find or look for an old (or new) reel seat that will accommodate a 4" Hardy reel with the large foot? I don't want to lose the original foot, and I have a friend in Luxembourg who can build me a rod.
The original foot is approximately 3.5", or 9cm.

I appreciate any help.

Best,
Olie

Welcome to the Speypages !!

If you Google "Ferguson Vintage Reel Seats" you will find a custom manufacturer of fine quality reel seats through Bob Meiser.
These are beautiful reel seats that accommodate large vintage reel feet.
Hope that helps

Mike
