Hello from the Driftless
Just got into fly fishing 2 years ago after a buddy showed me pics of wind river range hiking and brookie magic.
Always figured I'd get into salt water flats fly fishing based on my scuba addiction, but finally clicked that I might as well start now and build skills before I'm able to spend more time of the year in warm climes.
Been fly tying for 2 seasons and feel fortunate I've got the driftless so close, but also the great lakes tribs for steelhead, salmon. That's why I bought the 8 wt 11' switch rod and got into 2 handed casting last year.
Looking forward to building knowledge from all the expertise that participate on this forum.
Now, back to the skagit master video studying.....
