Hello from South Central Ontario

The embers have been smoldering for a few years. I was introduced to Spey casting while on a guided trip on the Saugeen river. Prior to that all of my steelhead fishing had been indicator fishing drifting egg flies and nymphs. As the embers begin to turn to flames I am ready to take the next step. Getting my switch rod set with a proper head and running line to dive into proper spey casting. I enjoy tying flies for all species of fish but am really interested in tying a more traditional spey type fly. Can't wait to get out and hit the rivers this year.
