Greetings! I've been an observer of these pages for quite some time, but have developed enough questions relative to some trip planning, boat rigging and destination logistics that I figure I better get my hand in the game. My fishing is almost entirely committed to two-handed casting these days, primarily on the the Bighorn, Missouri and North Platte rivers of Wyoming and Montana, with the exception to a little sublime dry fly fishing in the freestone streams of the Cloudpeak Wilderness in the Bighorn Mountains once our runoff settles. I've spent a good deal of my years teaching new comers about two-hand casting and am excited that fishing for trout with two-handed rods is beginning to take hold. It's fair to say that I've been smitten by the Steelhead bug, grounded by a couple trips I have hosted to the Dean River and and Grand Ronde Rivers several years past. In fact, it may not be too much of a stretch to suggest it's almost ruined my trout fishing....but not quite. In any event, I've genuinely enjoyed the support, thoughtfulness and honesty from the members in response to inquiries here and am looking forward to getting a few questions answered myself.
