I'm Laurent Keiff, I write for Le Mouching website. We may be lucky enough to count some of you amongst our readers. Spey is not a long tradition in France (except some particular places where one can still find Atlantic Salmon) but it's gaining momentum each year, especially with the (comparatively) new light rigs suitable for trout and other light fish.
I've been fascinated by spey casting for long (I'm a bit of a casting geek) and I've decided to step in and learn. I may have questions for you guys as I realize it's way harder than it looks (I know I will).
I also love to build my rods, and maybe I'll have to cut lines, so I'm going to need advice here too. Quick research already pointed me to wealth of answers (grip length as it were), so I'm glad I came here.
