Sage one 4116 reel match

I am interested in any comments on reel matches for this rod and what weights they are. Considering pairing my Nautilus NV G8 on mine but can't fish with it for a few weeks yet. Not sure if a 7oz reel is too much weight.
Any experience appreciated

On that rod I'd say about 5 oz empty it the sweet spot for balancing an inch or two below the top of the handle. I spent a lot of time on exactly this question and I got an older Hardy made Orvis cfo V (4.6 oz) for mine and love the balance. There is a lot of fudge room of course, and it isn't going to matter a whole lot with such a light setup. Also there is a whole other thread on this from maybe 6 months back.

I've used a couple of reels that both balance the rod well, and have enough capacity for the lines I've used.

Sage 4280
Hardy Perfect 3 5/8

I've found that the sage 4280/4580 balances that rod nicely as well...

Thanks.
IT looks like reels from 5 to 6oz balance. The G 8 isn't that much heavier
