Fast action 4/5wt switch

A inquiry for a friend. He likes fast action rods, I dont. So any suggestions on which rods for him to try? He's looking at the TFO switched to give you an idea of his price range. Echo?Redington?

Fast action 4/5wt switch

I use a 9' 5wt BVK for micro-skagit for small bass and trout. My favorite rod for micro-skagit.

OK, we'll try it again. My last message is probably spinning around in space someplace.

I heard they're the fastest action in that price range.

I've passed on those suggestions. Thanks

When you say "fast action" do you mead a tip action or stiff rod? For me fast means tip action and stiff is a rod which is rated wrong which feels nicer with a heavier line.

For a single hand TFO BVK 3wt there is a two piece conversion kit handle which makes it a 10ft switch rod but it does not make it stiffer although in this video a 235gr Ambush and a floating tip is cast. I have not tried it with conversion handle but BVK 3wt is very nice single hand rod.

He likes Sage rods. I've never casted one so I'm not sure what he means. If he could afford it he'd probably get a Sage one....what description would you give that "action'"?
