The Trout Speys have Revolutionized my Williamsion River Swinging.

With all the great spey gear that focuses on trout nowadays we are lucky. Its opened up water on my home river, The Williamson, that I have been wanting to fish since I was a kid. I have set out to share some of the amazing new presentations I have found with this gear. I have created the Trout Spey blog to record those findings. I would love to hear how these minispeys have affect your fishing on your home waters.

At 74 not much on my 'dance card' so you name the day/time/where and I'll be there! Have a new 'Boo that I have to line up but may be a tad too heavy, but do have 2handers down to 2/3's.

If you want to do a two day'er I'll pick up/cover all expenses! Petrol included.

Fred

Been a loooong several months: Last Dec. 1 I was just fine/fit as could be ... December 2nd the EMT's were picking me up off my living room floor. Couple of weeks later and did it again. Physically fine now save for just being weak as a kitten but my RN health care worker is pushing me to get off my butt and WALK! 'Good, you got there, now walk back!'

She must have been in the Marine Corp's .... Kidding aside she's a total delight ... and SINGLE. Now I haven't paid attention to that in about 13 years ... more ......

That's an incredibly generous offer!

We are all glad you're recovering and well Fred. Truly! Your contributions here are unequivocal in depth and consistency

Now about the RN ~ give us the details buddy, and don't be shy.

I wish I could say I was 'recovering,' had another attacked at 0330 this AM. Hurts like hell; time to make an appoint with my MD and do a 'What the hecks going on here!'

And she really is a very nice lady (in her mid-late '60's I think); when I get this crud under control I'm going to ask her out for dinner.

In that case, if you are not a subscriber to Grays Sporting Journal, it would be my pleasure to get you a subscription. The writing is superb and a great way to pass the time until you make it back to the water

Please keep us updated as to your health.

Cheers,
J

Very nice job on the blog Nate...good stuff, informative and entertaining. I read the first couple articles and learned some really cool things. Great fly display and step by step - some very nice photos too. Thanks for posting.
