Line them, take them down to the river ...

Pull out your cheque book, that is going to cost you 'serious coin.' Thing I like about Gary's rods is you want a '7,' that's exactly what you get. No mixed numbers.

love all the great new options for trout 2 handers ! now if the line manufacturers would just make us more integrated line choices. trout love chasing the fly all the way to the rod tip way too much for all those loops !
(and way too many times in-out for a welded connection to last, imo)

insta-release not Insta-gram !!

Dog is my co-pilot !

For those of us that can't travel to the clave, would you mind listing all the "new" rods, Gary? That is, the ones not already on your website.

Thanks a lot.

Wow. Thanks Gary. Looks like your R&D department has been busy!

Those long 5 weights are tantalizing. What is the grain window of the 1445?

Nice talking to you earlier today on the phone.

A very nice addition, just when spending habits were under control...

Has the 1173 been redesigned?

Grain window on the 1305?

1173-4

The 1173-4 is virtually the same, but there is a hint more tip power. The rest of the rod is unchanged. The grain window on the 1305-4 is 350-400gr. A 350 scandi at 33' and it Rocks!

Gary Anderson

An early report from the Sandy Clave. Cast the ACR 1446 with a Vector 5/6 first thing this morning. Outstanding! Light, easy going, and gets past 100' without taking a deep breath or requiring much input from the caster. Just pretend you are trying to make a 50' cast but have a whole lot more line ready to shoot. ME WANT NOW. This could get expensive
