nymphing line

I am currently building an ARE UHM 11' 3/4 two hander. Steve has rated the blank with a grain window of 175-225 grains for a scandi, 225-275 for a Skagit, and 105-135 for overhead. I don't plan on swinging much with this rod, instead I plan to use it primarily as a nymphing stick. I will be talking to Steve about a line for this rod, but thought others here might also have some thoughts about lines for this application or perhaps actual experience with this blank.
Would something like a scandi line be good for nymphing or would a WF single hand line, maybe in a 6 or 7 weight, be a good choice? I will only be doing spey casts, no overhead casting, and I don't think I will need to cast beyond probably 60 feet very often.

Steve made me a skandit line for my ACR 1172, and made a nymph tip for it as well. Very universal line , just unhinge your Scandi tip and loop on the poly/sink tip for a Skagit or loop on the nymph line for your nymphimg needs. A all in one line, defiantly give him a call!

It's good to know that Steve makes lines for nymphing, I have a couple of scandi heads he made for me, although in this case I am interested in an integrated line, not a head or even a line with interchangeable tips. When I nymph a lot of line is going in and out through my guides on every drift, so I don't want loop to loop connections going through the guides constantly.

Yep, he just made me a couple of long belly nymphing lines with integrated running lines. Give him a call.
