That is the reel I was thinking about getting for my 3 wt. That way I don't have to switch the heads just switch spools.

I've been fishing this spring with the 4wt and a 270gr scout head with light mow tips. It's been good with flies up to a big #2 single hook. Big tandem streamers with lead eyes are a challenge though. A 3" leach might be ok if it wasn't too draggy in the water. The rod has been fun with my small trout and its worked really good swinging a streamer with a small wet fly or soft hackle on a dropper above the main fly. Our water levels are dropping so I'm going to be trying a scandi head soon.

I'm still having fun with this rod swinging for trout in Montana. Latest update was adding one of the new OPST Commando Floating Tips (10') to the 175 grain Commando Head that I already had. The combination is really sweet, and the tip helps sustain the anchor for smoother casting. Using 5' poly leaders with tippet to complete the rig.
