I like to tie steamers on light salmon hooks, they give good proportions

Here it is Daiichi 2051 #7

Those are beauties almost took a chunk out if my I phone

I think I fish, in part, because itís an anti-social, bohemian business that, when gone about properly, puts you forever outside the mainstream culture without actually landing you in an institution. ĖJohn Gierach

Gotta love a fly after a few encounters with fish teeth. Free style soft hackle on a stream that will remain unnamed.

Size 10 wet

These are proving quite successful this spring/summer, tweaking with a few more layers in the collar behind the bead to better emulate a small bully/inanga
in adult stage.

I hardly ever take any pics of the Trout flies that I tie. But I found this old pic of some Mallard Flank Caddis dry flies that I tied 15 years ago. They work well up north in the rivers that I fish in MA and are also really easy to tie.

A couple of Sculpin Heads that I tied years ago. I caught a couple of nice rainbow trout using a smaller size in brown while up in Virginia. I will tie these on when I visit the White River this fall.

Here's a couple tubes I've done for trout as well as a wee Willie Gunn variant. Hope the Muskegon River Browns like them this spring!

Thanks for looking,

Nohackle72

I like the direction you are going

My friend J.Farmer @midnightcustomflies spun these for me after I pitched him a pattern. He then made what I asked him 100x better
