I may be wrong about this, but as far as I know this site does not support direct uploading of videos, only pictures. So videos that you are watching, even though it looks like they are playing "in site" are embedded links to some place that does like YouTube or Vimeo. The first step then is in understanding what you are watching, where it is from, and whether the ads are from the host site, probably before you bug the support team.

That said, if after due diligence it still looks weird, then go ahead.

Edit: I stand corrected. Looks like the drag and drop box does support video type files. Still, betting most ads are from the embedded links.

Watching Video's

Ok noted

I posted it in the new members forum because of this:

In addition to the screening process: all new member first posts will be limited to the New Member Introduction Forum and will need to be approved by Moderators before it can be viewed by the general membership.

I must admit I had thought it would be better or prudent to note the origin of the video and load it seperately from there ie Youtube etc.

Are you still coming across the issue mentioned in your first post?

Can you provide a link to the thread where you saw the video?

Richard.

Watching Video's

Richard,

Sorry for tardy reply,

The problem seems to have cleared I think originally it was watching something under the video section. Winter Steel-head I think and others on spey casting.

Thanks

that's good.

Let me know if you see this issue again, but next time this happens, try another device to confirm that it is the site before reporting this.

Thanks.
