Spam on ipad

Anyone else encountering this while browsing speypages on an iPad? 2nd time this has happened to me, redirecting me to some random lucky draw (click on this link kind of punishing scam). Site admin might want to take a look at this as this is the only site that is doing that on my iPad.

I have had similar experiences lately with an android using the chrome browser. I just shut down shop and try again later. Clicking on these will probably result in a virus. Not cool at all!

I've had the same from my iphone. Like steelchromedome said, I just close and re-enter, and it's always fine.

I have had this problem too, on iPad Pro using Safari.

Only on this site however, not on any other.

I have had the same thing happen, once you're trapped that's it. You have to shut down the iPads or iPhones. Talk about being held hostage by phishing.

This whole site has problems with all of the adds attached to the posts. I can say, not even Facebook is this bad. The adds come and go between the posts. I have an IMAC, never get stuck, but the adds try to pull you in as you pass though the posts. These adds are loaded with spam. I clear my browser when I get off this site.

Are you experiencing ads when you are logged in to the forum or when viewing without logging in? I was under the impression that once logged in the ads were not as prevalent. Other than the banner ads at the top of the page I don't see ads when logged in.

I find that uBlock ad blocker works well on OSX (Chrome browser), I never see ads on this site. I have an ad blocker on my iPad as well, but almost never browse on it, so can't vouch for effectiveness.

Hey all

Sorry for the trouble. There has been a particularly nasty rogue ad we've been dealing with this year. If you can report the full URL of that pop up as you come across them, we can send them up to tech to have them blocked. Thanks all.

I understand the headaches that this may cause.
If you guys can provide us with the URL and images of the ad, we will be able to track it down and smite it.

Richard.
