PMs exceeded message when sending a PM

Hi there moderators, just wondering how I can reduce this one. Should I just start deleting old in/out box PMs one by one?
Thank you for your help

To my knowledge, there is no way to archive PM's. Therefore, deletion is the only way that I know of.
You can start by deleting PM's in your "Sent" folder if it best suits you.

Your PM limit is expressed by Inbox + Sent Messages. If you delete some of your sent messages it will allow you to start sending again.

Also, when in your inbox/sent messages, you can scroll to the bottom of the message list, and you can see 'Download all Private Messages as:' where you can choose which type of file you want to save all your private messages as, if you want to keep them.

Thanks,
- JB

Send a message via Yahoo to Nooksack Mac
Some PMs are worth saving; some aren't. A completed sale or purchase, a month or more old, can go. (I always save the written record.) An inquiry about a possible purchase or sale which didn't come to fruition can go. Performance inquiries about tackle that I no longer own can go, etc.

As I read what you titled this question as; are you are exceeding the text size in the PM, or have you reached the storage limit in your mailbox?

If number one is the case then when you are replying on a PM you will need to block and remove all but the most vital text from the message you are replying to. If number 2, then you need to clear out old mail.

Thanks for the reply gents. I believe it's a capacity issue and I have started deleting the oldest messages in my sent folder. Cheers,

you can always save your PMs as a txt file before deleting them.
