Somebody PLEASE stop the video adverts?

While I don't mind ad banners on this fine forum (we all have to pay the bills), must we be subjected to these super annoying video ads that start up unsolicited?

Are you logged in when you see these video ads? If so, can you get me a screen shot of it?

Please also let us know what browser you're using and which device you use to browse the forum with.

Hi Lee,

For a few days before I posted that thread I started getting loud video ads where your usual banners would be. They seem to have stopped now. I can't recall if they were happening before or after I logged in but I'm pretty sure after as I usually login the second I get on the site. I'm using a mac with Google Chrome. Hope this helps and if it happens again I will get back in touch with more info. Thanks for your concern...Love this site!!!!

Cheers

I'm using a mac with Google Chrome

Switch to Safari, go to preferences, security, and check add blocker. The problem solved.

I stay logged in, all the time, so when I first get here, I'm logged in. Most of the time on a PC via Mozilla Firefox. Once in a while, an iPad via Safari. Have never encountered that problem.

I fish because the voices inside my head tell me to.
