Question Spam Removal

The classifieds have and ad for "Buy Oxycodone and Steroids" and the book review section has some spam in a foreign language. I and others have flagged it as spam, but these posts have not been removed. What is the best way to alert management about this abuse of the resource.

I have clicked on the triangle that has the exclamation point inside and have reported the spam to no avail. I thought I would try a public post and see if that generates any action. The foreign language spam in the books section has been on the top of the speyclave page for months....

Hey guys,
Marie here, I am from the Community Support Team, I went ahead and cleaned up that thread for you. I have contacted the existing moderators and asked them about adding some new blood to the team.

You can also contact community support directly at [email protected], we always want to hear your feedback and any concerns you may have. Also, please continue to report spam as you see it.

Thanks guys!

Tonnes (yes, that is the correct way of spelling the word if you're a Canuck or a Brit) but far too many postings for them to follow. We are the 'eyes and ears' of Internet Trash.

Marie,

There are no existing mods. I was the last and I resigned a couple of months ago.

Haha! Now speypages is running on some seriously low overhead.

I find it amusing that our new corporate overlords were not even aware of that fact.

Don't worry, with current technological advances, we now have driverless trains, planes that don't 'really' need a pilot, and cars that drive themselves.

Why would we need mods on a forum?

All 'spam' is eaten by the auto spambots!
