Hey All.
Just thought I would post up some new bugs. I got really stoked on Allen S. post "I haven't quit" full of stunning married wing flies this morning. One in particular I was really into, a black and shades of orange number.... wow! Since I have not the skills to even come close to reproducing a fly like that... I tyed this humble 3/0 dee by poaching his lovely pattern, Thank-you Allen S.
And 4 others that I tied as part of a group I am working on as a thank-you to a friend. A Glentanar, Brown Wing Killer, Rintoul and a Doc Spratley.
And one more, another Glentanar that I tied as a gift to our own Bwana Bill who organized the Gift for Marty's retirement by having us pagers here in HFF tie up patterns that Marty has graciously shared SBS's with us in the past. I tied a fly for Marty's retirement gift.... but it felt strange to send only one fly to Bill.... that will not be for him.... Kinda like giving a wallet as a gift with no money in it. Just not right.
Just more of the reciprocating goodness and inspiration that stems from the community here on Speypages in the Hooks, Feathers and Floss forum. Thanks Guys!
Cheers and tight lines.
James
