Dana

Thank you for posting. It brought back both happy and sad memories of the Sea Trout fishing on the West Coast of Scotland. Happy memories were those of so many times with friends fishing wondrous rivers. The sad memories were those of government commissions into the catastrophic decline of the rivers as Atlantic salmon farms in the estuaries became prevalent. The commissions were simply a whitewash to allow the farming to continue. Towards the end we caught a few fish, some with hundreds of lice, one unforgettable was so covered you could just make out the eyes. Today the fishery is gone and so have the commissions.

Thanks for posting this Dana.
Kudos to Alex and all who are working to expose the situation and make something happen. This story has been frustrating, not unlike many other fishery stories world-wide.
