How to set the hook

An article, Three great videos, one, hot off the press with some awesome footage. All about setting the hook.

If I have ever engaged in such activities, I have no recollection of it.

Great write up Tim!

A few points:

“My award winning article”

There’s no better place for a death star than at the bottom of the Deschutes

If you’re bringing toilet paper you need to better your diet my man so you are more regular and have the luxury of porcelain before you leave the castle

Does everyone turn their rod toward the shore immediately after setting the hook?

Yup, Award-winning. I won a fifty Dollar Gift certificate from FlyfishUsa for making the finals and an Echo fly rod for winning the entire contest. The bs flowed freely the day I penned that epic saga.

We will have to agree to disagree on the toilet paper thing. You are far more advanced in that area, although I hope to achieve your level of control. I presume you have portable porcelain for remote overnighters?

By the time I remember which bank I'm supposed to set the hook towards the fish has usually just hooked itself. By the time I've done my third hook set I'm sure I've picked the correct bank at least once.

Nice read. I enjoyed the fish story and photo a lot. The videos were excellent too.
Very informative. Keep it up!
