This should be compulsory viewing for Great Lakes steelheaders. It captures the essence of our passion. I could have just as easily posted this in the Conservation Video Forum.
As posted by the producer, RT (thirdyearflyfisher).
"Spey Daze was shot over the course of two and a half years in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and various parts of Ontario. Though largely a film about the pursuit of Steelhead on the swung fly, the film also focuses on the past, present and current issues the Great Lakes are experiencing, how these issues effect the fishery and how they might affect the Steelhead populations that call the Great Lakes home."
The dvd is a 2 disc set featuring over 4 hours of content. It will be released on March 11th, 2017 and will be available to stream on April 1st, 2017.
Just wanted to let everyone know how epic this film actually is! If I could do the guy a solid and spread the word, then it's my pleasure. Kudos to all involved. Anyone who cares at all about steelhead in the Great Lakes NEEDS to see this.
