Iceland Salmon on a Sunray

For those of you who like surface action, I uploaded a video from my summer trip. I had nice success using a Sunray Shadow either on the surface or just below. The video shows one of the fish (82 cm so about 12lbs) I caught you can see the fish grab the fly its a pretty nice surface grab. The upload quality is not the greatest much better on my computer also a lot of video did not turn out due to the heavy rain or drizzle getting onto the lens of the camera.

A beautiful fresh fish, certainly hasn't been out of the salt very long.

Well done, Tyke.

Nice video John, I hope you had a great summer there.
I sure wished I made it back this year as I was intending. Did the incredible numbers at the start of the season continue through the summer?

Cheers,
Steve

Thanks for sharing the video.
Do you have any personal suggestions on contacts for salmon fishing in Iceland?
I visited Iceland last year as a tourist and promised myself I would return and fish.
Tight lines,
Rocco
