Double Spey and C Spey SPEY

DitchDigger and Mecast like this.

... the pseudo-science of running-lines and matching heads has now devolved into such a miasma of obfuscation that it is a wonder that people are even not more confused....Erik Helm

I see and understand what you are doing. I do the same thing and it works great. You keep saying pitch out at 4:00 O'clock then circle up. I think you mean or should say pitch out at close to 10:00 O'clock or even 2:00 O'clock. Unless the clock is upside down! LOL Wouldn't 4:00 O'clock have the rod tip pointing down towards the water? Just sayin!

I'm thinking the "pitch out" at 4 o'clock is from a reference point directly overhead with respect to the caster. Tough to represent that without a drone!

Just because no one understands you doesn't mean you're an artist...

OK I understand. You are correct in what you are doing. I learned the hard way. Eventually figured it out through trial and error! When I watched your explanation I said this guy (Yoda1) is showing folks something that really works and will help a lot.
