Look at which leg in forward in the cast. This helps in not over rotating and getting your D loop in a bad spot. Probably the hardest thing to learn (for me i know) was the initial lift and bringing the line upstream for the cast( the change of direction). I had to really make sure i lifted with both hands from a deep bend. Break the water tension pause and then continue the rest of the cast. Another helpful tip is get the line down river as straight as you can get it.
Another thing.. is rocking back with the cast and getting the hands up high( but not bringing your top hand) over your ear. Driving that outstretched lower hand down (a straight arm generates power)
