Dana

The SPTV clips you throw out there from time to time are just great.
When I take a coffe break at the desk I pick one and view it a
bunch of times...there are very useful. keep up the good work.

The video is only one of many reasons why we should support SpeyPages.

Thanks Dana

The place I usually practice is river right, so I have been limited on the casts I can practice. After watching this clip I am able to maximize my practice time much better. Not only am I practicing the casts I would use on either river right or left, I'm getting in twice the number of casts because I'll go directly from a double spey to a circle spey or single spey. Thanks.

Hey Dana

Did you tape this close to home? It looks familiar....

And, just a reminder, you get to see quite a few more videos if you are a subscriber, plus a newsletter, etc. -- well worth the money. Sign up if you haven't to help keep this site alive.

What Dana did in that clip is sort of what I do on a lake (only my casting isn't as good ). Got the idea from watching his clips.

nice tutorial

Great piece to watch for practice cast arounds which I do with a local group ('Santiam Speycasters') & have to say the scene looks like some local Oregon rivers. Also have to admit Jeong Park (You Tube) is my sensei zen casting hero as well.... she proves technique goes a long way towards an effortless tight loop.
