On a 4 day fishing trip my father and we hook 17 fish, landing 10 of them. We decided to keep these three beautiful fish.

I do love them and I am thankful for each and everyone. We were lucky enough to land 10 fish over that four day trip, of which 7 were hatchry and we decided to keep three.

I dont understand the outrage over killing hatchery fish. Jamey, they do propagate, and thats the problem. When hatchery steelhead stray, their genetics enter the gene pool, making the wild steelhead less fit. So I say good job bonking the hatchery fish, anyone who is an advocate for fish knows its the right thing to go. Congrats, hope they were tasty.

PS-alot of the folks outraged about this are Great Lakes fellas, so they dont have the same issues we do in the northwest. But hatchery=bad for wild.
