Missed Bob's bio link above. Great read up on the casters and equipment. The new Gaelforce comp rod must be some bit o' kit.

To avoid huge post with all photos and for those who can't view Facebook album, I've placed my images here : SOR_2013.

They are not sorted by date, but I think it will not cause any problem

Dmytro, awesome pics. Thanks for sharing.

SanFranFF - I read the regulations and see that "pokes" are allowed, did anyone use a poke (intentionally)?

Sor 2013

It was another wonderful year at SOR 2013. Thanks to GGACC for you hospitality and your hard work to make this event happen.

GEAFORCE team is strong and congrates your victory. We are fortunately to witness Gerard Downey's big score and his win. Good Job James and good team.

Mia pull down another title. That was amazing to see you cast so many on concrete within the 6 minutes. Also Congrates to Marcy and Anita for your excellent casts.

Finally, this year is very special. We have a big gun break the 15' spey World Record with 191 feet (58.22 meters). He is Geir Hansen from Norway. Here is a copy of an interview Video about how he explains/executes the cast in details
(if video link does not work, go to Nextcast website listed just further below).

Yes, Loc Vetter. Everyone else used lines in the 70' range - so no poking for them.
