Very classy-looking tubes. I've not seen very many tube flies over the years that I would consider to have a classy look to them, but these tube flies of yours definitely have class Charlie.

In my personal experience these loose feathers (purple grizzly) were very weak in many fishing conditions. Have you tested any tubez like that?

Granted, these two flies have had very little time in the water. However, I have fished intruder style flies with the hackles striped in the same manner and I have fished flies with striped hackle stems, such as the Krabla and Francis and have never had a problem with them breaking……until a fish gets them. Then all bets are off.
