Is there another way to cure the glue than having to buy the special Loon UV Power Light?

Thanks

Sunlight

Be careful trying to reinforce any knot or use the Loon stuff outside. Not only will it harden while you are working with it, but if the tip of the tube sees sunlight it can clog quickly!

When curing make sure it is very sunny day the curing time is at least 1 hour ( late morning-early afternoon) during fall-early spring time. During late spring -late summer, as long as it is at least 3 hours after sunrise or 3 hours before sunset , 30-40 min. will suffice.

The glue will harden within 1-3 minutes, but it does not mean is fully cured inside, specially inside.

Once properly cured, UV gel is stronger then aquaseal. This glue is also great for repairing line's nicks and securing welded loops. Also make sure the surface is cleaned form humane grease. Either water/detergent or at least 70-100% rubbing alcohol works very effectively as a degreaser.
