Happy New Year, Ard!
You and I spoke at some length several years ago about one of your flies but for the life of me, I can't find any evidence whatsoever for this conversation. You shared a streamer design that I believe you called "Ard's Answer" that mimicked a brown trout fry. It was rather ungainly looking when tied but as soon as it hit water it became as perfect a representation as I've ever seen! I tied up a number of these and proceeded to catch some of the largest trout I've ever pulled from the Cumberland River here in southern Kentucky.
Life took a harsh turn or two and here approximately five years later I'm getting back to enjoying my love of fishing. Most of my flies and the instructions for your "Answer" were lost along the way and I was hoping you'd be willing to share the instructions for tying it with me once again. It was quite easily the most productive fly I've ever swung in the Cumberland.
Thanks in advance, and I hope this finds you doing well.
John
