    Hey Gene,
Why don't you put the pix from last year of my 17' walker LLS into this thread? perfect moment to slip it in to the conversation in a low key way...hope all is well for you; probably getting ready for the migration to the Clearwater?

    Hi Gene
If you open Youtube and enter " Bäschwatz " you can watch my little casting with an18 ft Norway.
Mostly i'm fishing off the banks. The casting is the same for most fishing conditions.
My selfmade lines are made from Skagit Compact as heavy belly at the end and Mackenzie DTX in front.
Both cuttet and fixed together as a speyline.
Some years ago a had done this with two Atlantic Salmon SH from the Scientiffic's.
The 45 and the 40 gramm heads.
Both cuttet the end taper and fixed together as a heavy DT line.
The tip section was made from rests of some other lines.
It was the bomb line at all for nightfishing.
In the absence of salmon and stealhead in our German waters i took some big eels. No one wantet to believe... Ha ha
    Best regards
    Thilo
