Juro,

Not too long ago I publically admonished you for what I perceived to be an unwarranted squeeze for a freebie, i.e., an XLT line from S/A. I was totally out of line and I am sorry.

I now believe your efforts were right on in regards the forum membership AND Scientific Anglers and, I support your efforts wholeheartedly. Hopefully your efforts to get new product into the hands of anglers of mixed skill levels for review/testing will set a precedence that other manufacturers will follow up on.

Again, my sincerest apologies. Big foot in the mouth...

Steven Russell

P.S. Although not a candidate for the XLT's, if you get to review/test a jet sled, sign me up.

Thanks Steven, but there is no need for an apology. I admired you for standing up and saying what you believed was true. It was never really about the line per se.

You may have noticed that I call 'em as I see 'em too - and that's not always the most popular thing to do. But a man's got to act upon what he believes, and that's what you did.

Thanks once again and hope to have the chance to fish with you one of these days.

regards,
Juro

Juro,

Thanks for being so gracious in light of my previously harsh tone in the matter.

If we ever do team up for a fishing day with the two handers be sure to bring body armor. At least know how to duck since I will be armed with more than just green yarn.:chuckle:

Regards,

Steven (with a "v")
