Excelent Small Spey Reel

I have just aquired a great spey reel Its a Okuma serria 10/11 I have a airflo long delta loaded on it with 250 yards of 30#backing. This reel is big enough for my 10wt and a long belly line. the reel reminds me of a lamson or a SA, but it retails for around 40$. Ive owned alot of good reels and they are no better then this one but cost about 5 times more.....Nate

$ 40 dollars is that in Oregon currency ?

Will have to check that out last $ 40 fly reel I bought was 20 years ago a Martin 72 which was popular at the time here in the mid west. Still a good reel it landed a bunch of steelies and salmon for me.

Let us know how it holds up on the first steelie run for freedom ?

Hal I have all the confidence in the world in this reel, its made 10 times better then my orvis rockie mountian amd I have caught steelhead on it. Go to any sporting good store and check one out youll be surprised.......Nate
