BCF,

Holy Snot! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

Loved the music, as well.

Next to Steelhead Dreams, that might be my favorite video that I've ever seen.

Glorious,

Keith

I really enjoyed that. you have a great eye for composition, that's for sure. And the music was a great pic. There is so much horrible "in your face" music being used for steelhead vids these days, that was a refreshing change.

Pure class Dimitri! Great soundtrack also. Made me watch some of the other videos which are just as good. Thanks for sharing.

Cool! Is that a slider you're using on your 7D?

Very nice! What camera did you use?

Canon 7D for all the scenic type stuff and gopro for driving/fishing stuff. would have like to just use 7D but the only subject to shoot was myself (unfortunately) so had to use the go pro...

bigbadbrent i did use a little slider from Konova for a few of the shots, first time using it outside of the house and still have to get used to it a bit...

The slider adds a ton to the shots I think.... I have too many 'wanted' toys and that's another.

Can you pm me a link to the one you have?

Great vids, very well done. As a Flyers fan, I also really liked the Mike Richards feature on your vimeo site. Gritty player, I miss watching him in the black and orange. Sounds like they kicked him out the door in Philly.

BCflyman.

That was some soulfull work right there, I loved it and it made me smile. You captured the beauty of the river in winter..... it felt like steelheading. Awesome, I dig it big time.

Lets go fishing.
I'm pumped.

Nicely done BCF... I was on the T from the 27th to the 31st.. I managed to hook into one Steelhead at the lake pool on my second day but she quickly spit my intruder and left me standing there with the biggest smile I had all year:) Beautiful system..Beautiful fish..We are so blessed to have this river in our back yard!! cheers

Hakai, you must have been one of the three anglers I saw on Dec 31 between Spences Bridge and the area 15km upstream and above Martel.

This season I had 5 or 6 Saturdays on the water; briefly hooked into one steelhead on a lure and then fished mostly flies during my last 3 outings.

Below is one pretty crappy (and boring) video from me. Youtube also helped in this by blocking the chosen Van Halen background music (it was "Right now"):)

Great job on the video!!
Traveled the Canyon over Christmas. First time in years I have driven it in December. Saw very few anglers compared to when I traveled it regularly 30 years ago. There were 3 anglers downstream from Shaw Springs, 2 at Lake Pool, 4 above Graveyard, 1 downstream of the Nicola and 5 upstream of Martel.

Absolutely awesome video and music!! The best fishing video I have seen!
My brother and I have been fishing the big T for over 50 years and know what it is like to have many days on the river without a fish....however the true essence of the Thompson experience comes through loud and clear in your video - well done!

Very nice, have to get back up there, been awhile.
Did not realize Richards was gone from the Flyers to the Kings.
Watching Flyers and Hawks right now.

...fishing isn't only about hooking-up? I could feel my blood pressure drop while watching. Nice use of the music, and fluid casting too. Very nicely done, Dimitri. Thanks for making my evening. More, please.:smokin:

Thanks Ed, I have to agree there is much more to fishing than hooking up!

Nice work! The majesty of that river is unsurpassed in the Steelhead world.

One of the best/my favorite videos i've seen.

Was all the driving video shot with the Go Pro? It looks like some 7d.

What lenses were you using? I have a 7d and am really curious.

Again great video! Thanks for sharing. I'm looking at my camera differently.
