anyone read it yet?
I have been going over it for a few days now and it sure looks like no punches where pulled. It's been a great read to get all the history and challenges these fish face.

I have to agree, some very interesting reading. It certainly makes one wonder about DFO and that departments ability to manage a mixed stock fishery that will not impact steelhead and other weaker stocks of salmon in such a negative manner. Or even worse if the aformentioned department even cares. I know that they pay lip service to the above concerns but the actual managment of the fishery is another matter.

I,ve been reading it for last few nites and enjoying it. Some interesting points raised for sure. I think the DFO just represented the money crops of fish and commercial interests, sounds like from very beginning.I guess some things never change.A worth while book for anyone interested in the Skeena and her fish stocks. Love that part of country and pictures portray country up there very well. Sort of book that I,ll read several times as lots of information to digest. Glad I bought it. Daryl
