Thanks for posting. Only question is all the double haul stuff necessary or is just for show?

If your looking to really move a lot of line the double haul is needed (from my experience). Out to about 50'ish feet ... not really.

I think I couldn't cast a single hander without using my left (hauling) hand.

Thanks for posting..!

I am diggin' the operation from about 30 to 53 seconds in. Starts out kind of like a thing Woodlander was showing me a couple years ago, but then loops around your head. It's a bit of a "ballet cast"--- seems to me you go through some artsy-fartsy line manipulation that could be done in a more straightforward manner, but hey...20 plus seconds just to chuck your string back from whence it came is NOTHING if you can do it and look that effin' cool.

Is there a name for that?? If not, it needs to be a pretty good one. Suggestions??

I might have to try it next time I get out... without a fly for awhile..

EDIT> looks like he has another video of just that cast called "Around Double Spey". hmmm.. vaguely dis-satisfying.
