When I first started doing stuff on-line one of the first interesting things that happened was that I met others who were interested in swapping fishing trips to famous homewaters. As a result of this I have had the good fortune to fish the Deschutes, the Skagit/Sauk, the Skykomish, and the Dean with some of the members on this site, and I've enjoyed introducing them to the Thompson, Squamish and others.
We might want to think about setting something like this up here. I suppose we could post waters we are familiar with and indicate places we'd like to try, or we could just let things grow on their own as we all get to know each other.
What do you think?

I like your idea Brian--I'll have to see how things go for me as "junior" is due in early May so, depending how things progress, I might want to hang around through April--but that shouldn't stop the rest of you from setting something up!

I went to the Skagit/Sauk last March and enjoyed meeting you crazy steelheadears even more than the actual fishing. Having said that, I also have to say that those rivers are awesome. The Sauk just is a jewel. Sadly there were only a few fish around. I blew two nice ones on the main river and and eventually caught the dandiest little "jack" up at the Sauk. I would love to come back but the wallet just is too thin this year.

If anyone comes my way - let me know. I get a kick out of your Steelheads.
