My wife introduced me to Gierach books and I've been a fan ever since. I could go on about his witty anecdotes and clever allegories but I won't spoil it. Here is a little insight into the man himself
John has a superb handle on the brevity of life's sojourn and what should be valued since everything is tentative when measured by time. But then there is what is currently valued by or deemed success in our time and well before it too
