It is hard to beat as a summer rod and casts very well with a wulf 7/8 spey. But will also perform well for winter if your willing to use the short belly shooting heads. I have found I can go to 17' of 9wt type IV with the shooting head application and the rod is a joy to fish with for stretches up to14hours with out tiring you out with the heads. Over all it an excellant rod in my opinion.</P><P>Brian St</P></DIV></FONT></TD></TR></TABLE>
