Highly recommended. Not a how-to book. Captures the essence of what it is to be a steelheader through the good and not so good times.

Very much agree – ‘Leaves… is a very lovely, thoughtful reflection both on the places steelhead fly-fishing takes us and those with whom we share our obsession.

Also perhaps the nicest book I’ve seen produced by Amato - esp. the marvelous Eldridge Hardie illustrations.
