How does this rod compare to the Scott 9150? I have been casting a demo and to me feels a lot like the 8150 with a little more power and perhaps a bit smoother. I would like to know what others have to say about this rod.</DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Thanks Brian</DIV></DIV></FONT></TD></TR></TABLE>

I was told the line I was using was an 8/9 SA Mastery Spey. Worked great--loaded the rod very well and the whole setup cast like a rocket. If I get a chance at the Spey school next weekend I'll try a few other lines on it--RIO, Airflo, Loop and a few custom tapers--and report back.</DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>best,</DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>Dana</DIV></DIV></FONT></TD></TR></TABLE>

Sounds like a awsome line, hopefully I be able to cast one soon. I too really like the 9150 scott, But when I was casting that rod I was using a custom short belly line and it didn't really do the rod much justice. I have been switching over to the long belly lines now that my </DIV> <DIV>casting has improved and maybe I should give the Scott another try.</DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>Thanks, Brian</DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV></DIV></FONT></TD></TR></TABLE>
