Personally I've never thought to even look to see if 'anyone' was there. Suspect that most 'off board' conversations are done via direct e mail. Wish I was there given I grew up in BC. Cut my teath at age 10 on the Kispiox. Dear God, what was ......</DIV> <DIV>Anyway, at this time of the year, if folks want closer to home 'experience,' they really should consider the Rogue. Been averaging (sorry this sounds like a 'brovodo') but 1 to 6 fish in 2 to 6 hours of fishing within 30 minutes of down town Medford, OR. Upper Rogue is FF only from 9-1 to 10-31 so (truly) "we" have it to our selves. Locals just arn't up to ff or even fly below a float, so it truly is a ff "only." Went out Sat, Sun, and Monday for a few hours; Sat say one other guy in 20 miles of river (six released), Sunday -zip(three released and one for the bbq), I was it, Monday only two other people in the better part of 20+ miles of upper river (bunch of half pounders and one good fish which was bbq'ed for guests). Dirty job but 'soom body' needs to stand up. And you can even stay in a nice hotel, hot shower, etc., in the middle of it and have a good dinner with coctails. Life is good.
