I used a 6/7/8 Windcutter and was surprised how well it handled even sinktips. Am now looking for a long belly line for it. I don't think there is an Accelerator or SA Spey light enough. Maybe a Wulff Triangle Taper or something made from a DT 7?</DIV></FONT></TD></TR></TABLE>

a good "stock" line for floaters on the 1287 is the wulff triangle taper 7/8 spey line... the mastery 8/9 is a bit heavy. i posted a line formula that i designed for this rod, which works pretty well...</DIV></FONT></TD></TR></TABLE>
