Daiwa Rods

Can anyone tell me if the Daiwa WF99 series two-handed rods will handle lines other than a DTF when using the Snap-T, roll cast, single spey, double spey, etc. I fish fairly small rivers and want a rod that will handle 10-15' Type 2-3 sink tips.

I've cast a few of these rods and they are powerful sticks that will handle pretty much any line you'd care to use on them, and any cast you'd employ. It's been a few years but my recollection is they are UK style rods--mediumish action, powerful butt and tip sections. It might pay to overline them a little with the shorter bellied lines to retain the classic feel of these rods.
