Does anyone have an image they can post, or a recipe for a fly called the Swedish Poacher?

Are you sure it is Swedish Poacher and not Squamish Poacher? If it is the latter, a google search should get you what you need.

If the Squamish Poacher the pattern is:

tail: hot orange calftail tied slightly down hook bend
eyes: black bead chain (usually plastic) or black or green beads melted
on mono tied above hook point
rear body: hot orange chenile wrapped over tail wraps and around eyes
rib: oval gold or medium copper wire tied in front eyes after rear body ]
is wound
body: hot orange chenile, hot orange Estaz, hot orange Cactus Chenile
hackle: (note hackle is optional and usually only used if body is hot orange
chenile) hot orange palmered to front, cutt off on top, and cut
on an angle from rear to front (the front is very short)
carapace: orange surveyor's tape or hot orange Edge Bright strip tied in at
front, brought over body to tail where it is tied in with orange
thread. The oval gold or medium copper wire is then used to hold
it in place over the front body.

The fly is actually very easy to tie, even if it has a number of different steps.

Thanks guys, but it is the Swedish Poacher I'm looking for. A long-wing salmon pattern I believe somewhat in the same vain as the collie dog or Ray Brooks' Sunray Shadow.

This fly is a variant of the Sunray Shadow, and while I have not seen a receipt, I have picked up a few examples on the rocky shores both on the Gaula and the Kharlovka, most likely lost by the Swedish creators, and here are my impressions:

A Sunray - type of fly, buth with these changes:
- underwing with yellow/chartreuse/green-highlander green hairs (pick colour yourself), black overwing as on a Sunray Shadow
- some of the flies have had a narrow fluorescent band in green or yellow/green (floss silk) right behing the head to make for a target point
- might be a wrong impression, but the poachers I have seen have generally been smaller and have had a thinner wing that on a regular Sunray Shadow.
