A few first flies to share....

I thought I would finally bite the bullet and share some of my recent tyings. Im super slow at the vise and with a 1 year old....you just need to take some time here and there to have a 'break'.

A few Skagit Mist variations and some Doc Spratley's......

Be kind....lol (I know you all are)

Hopefully the upload from the phone worked ok.

Josh

If that 1-year-old follows in his ol' man's footsteps, he's got some big shoes to fill!

Those look like food, dude! Nice job!

Hey, how come food isn't spelled fude? Like dude. Or dude spelled fude?

Never mind, I think I'll have another!

You tied some killer bugs. Do try and share more.

I really like the Doc Spratley especially done all spey-like. I use them - fish eat them.

Way to go Josh! First attempt? You have some serious kill. I'm most impressed with the proportions and flies that are reproduced really closely in each color. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Very nice set, Josh. Closer pics would be better, but I understand how tough it is sometimes to get decent shots due to lighting.

Keep them coming, thats some awesome work. Dec would be proud, Mists are looking pretty good. I am really liking the Akroyd, dubbing is spot on. Well done.
