Polar Shrimp, Courtesan, and Orange Heron

Cheers Everyone....
Great tying lately. Very inspiring as always....

I worked on these 3 recently.

I used some dyed BEP on the Polar Shrimp, and then cross ribbed it for some reason. The tail and collar are GP, but are hard to see in the picture as they blend in with the hackle, making it appear a bit full. I will definitely pluck out a few BEP fibres though, but it really isn't as heavy as it appears in the picture.

The collar on the Courtesan is merganser. I just love that stuff. There is oval tinsel, as a tag, instead of flat tinsel on the OH, and I left the wings a but "longish" on these two as I just liked the look.

Thanks for looking...

Excellent tying !!
The GP collar does blend in somewhat with the orange BEP, but it is still distinct to my eyes ... it's going to just POP once it gets wet
Something about the Courtesan pattern ... so very fishy !! And the Orange Heron is spot on ... you did them great justice !!
Always a pleasure viewing your work Mike

Not bad for a first try but these have quite a few things that could be improved upon. Let me start with ...

Just kidding, those are very, very nice. Great work.

Thanks Guys....

I just got back home after some travelling, and checked in to see some more ridiculously awesome pictures and flies on this forum.... so much talent you all have.

I'm going to put some varnish on the heads of these 3 tonight.
