How would you describe the Translucent Black finish?

A clear coat gives depth to the otherwise flat, matte graphite surface: Translucance.

It's dark. Can barely see the tape ridges. My fav. color from their line but I have one in their new matt on order.

The DAL blank I finally finished last week has that finish. Basically it is Darth-Vader's-Helmet black. Or as special agent Cooper would put it, "black as midnight on a moonless night" ... but Sith Lord shiny. It IS pretty gorgeous.

When I ordered my first 1, i saw this when I finally got home.. I have another just like it except its a little Bigger, the colour is Class
