Red face Uhg, don't think about Oar-u-gone for the next couple of weeks.

Raining like a cow standing over a flat rock over most of the State. Couple of coastal rivers already at/beyond flood stage.

Major puppies are taking the rain pounding at the moment, but flows are up 300 to 1,000 percent from just a week ago.

And rising as I type. Doubt things are much different over the next several hundred miles to the north.

But "This shall pass" and we'll be back in business even if we're at 'end game' of the winter fishing season.

Sigh ......

Unhappy

We could do with a few days of that over here, our rivers are too low & the local season starts on 1st April.

Regards, Tyke.

What you see (Hwy 62) as you first cross the Rogue is the 'Hatchery area.' Just above that is the Wm Jess Dam so the top 1/4 to 1/3 mile will always be running clear. Butte Creek flows in just down stream of the Hwy 62 bridge and it's all down hill from there.

A week ago the flow at the Medford USGS gauge was 1,400 cfs .... topped out at almost 11,000 a few days ago. Trending down now, but more heavy rain predicted for today/tomorrow. Here's 'Ray Gold' just north of Medford: http://waterdata.usgs.gov/usa/nwis/uv?14359000

And Tyke's right about the lack of rain in many areas of the UK. Post on a few UK based boards and the drought conditions have been an ongoing topic of conversation.

I'd say you're right about the landlocks. Beautiful day down here today:

Gary - nice!

Fred - Are you giving us the truth, or just trying to keep the river clear of others!
